Girls Lacrosse

Program History
The Albertus Magnus Girls Lacrosse Program has a rich history of success on the field and in the classroom. The team competes in the highly regarded Section 1 Tennis Conference. In this venue, the girls compete not only against the top players in our area, but they also play against some of the best players in the state. 
Colleges
The Albertus Girls Lacrosse Program has a rich history of girls going on to play NCAA lacrosse. Every year we graduate players that go on to play collegiate lacrosse and support them in their journey of finding the right fit.

Mairead Durkin '18, is the most decorated lacrosse player in our school's rich history. She was a high school All-American (2018) while at Albertus and then went on to play lacrosse at James Madison University. At JMU she was a collegiate standout, where she earned the honors of All-American as a division 1 athlete.

Coaches
Varsity Head Coach Alyssa Sanchez enters her third season at Albertus Magnus. Coach Alyssa comes from an outstanding lacrosse background. She played Division I lacrosse at Binghamton University where she majored in Pre-Med. As a midfielder for the Bearcats, Alyssa started 32 of 48 games in her career. She led the team in draw controls and ranked second on the team in goals, points, caused turnovers and ground balls in her junior season. Prior to college, she was a standout lacrosse player at Suffern High School.
