Coaches

Coach Buckley is in his 15th season as the Head Girls' basketball coach at Albertus Magnus. Last season, the Lady Falcons won the 2024 New York State Class AA Championship for the first time in 32 years! During his tenure, he has helped guide the Lady Falcons to 9 league championships, 7 Section Finals appearances, 2 Section I titles (’15,’24), and 2 Regional Championships (’15, ’24).

Coach is a 1993 graduate of Albertus Magnus. His senior season he was named Rockland County Player of the Year and led the team to their first Section 1 title in school history. He was inducted into the AM Hall of Fame in 2018. Coach went on to play at The Catholic University of America, where he was a 4 year starting guard and 1000 point scorer. Coach Buckley is employed as a Physical Education teacher at Rockland BOCES and as the commissioner for Rockland County CYO Girls basketball.
