Mike Mulderrig

Michael Mulderrig was born in the Bronx but has lived most of his life in Pearl River, NY. He is a graduate of St. Margaret of Antioch Grammar School, Pearl River High School, and Marist College. He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Mike is married to Mary (O’Brien) ‘66, and is the father of Jennifer ‘91 and Brendan ‘95.

 

Mike coached for many years in the PAL and for St. Margaret’s CYO. He is grateful that his son was the beneficiary of three outstanding coaches at Albertus: Tom McNamara, Frank Somoylo, and Joe McGuinness.

 

In 2002, Mike retired from a 25 year career with the FDNY. The following year Pat McFadden asked if he would consider helping out with the boy’s varsity basketball team. Mike has enjoyed being Coach McFadden’s assistant for the past 21 years.

 

Mike feels great affection for the boys who came through the program, playing hard and giving their all for Falcon basketball. He is also an avid fan of the Lady Falcons.

 

The same spirit, energy, and camaraderie that his own children experienced while at Albertus continue to make AM a special and happy place. It made working here a wonderful and memorable experience.
