Congratulations to the Student Council Officers for the 2024-2025 school year:
President Mahkayla Hargat '25
Having served as Junior Class Director for the 2023-2024 school year, Mahkayla brings enthusiasm and experience to her new role as President. Mahkayla was inducted into the National Honor Society, Seat of Wisdom chapter this Spring, runs on the Varsity Track team, is a Falcon AMbassador, Peer Mentor, Eucharistic Minister, a member of the Preaching Team as well as the Building Bridges and Future Healthcare Professional clubs.
Vice President Olivia Pastina '25
Olivia has served as Student Council Class Representative for Freshman, Sophomore and Junior year. In Senior year, Olivia will serve as Vice President. Olivia is Captain of the Varsity Volleyball team, a Falcon AMbassador, Peer Mentor, Peer Tutor, Eucharistic Minister, and member of the Preaching Team. She is on Mathletes and was inducted into the National Honor Society, Seat of Wisdom chapter this Spring. Outside of Albertus, Olivia coaches a first through third grade intramural basketball team at St. Gregory Barbarigo School and volunteers at her local parish, St. Gregory Barbarigo.
Secretary Julia Lombardo '25
Treasurer Riley Harold '25
Riley served as Junior Class Representative for the 2023-2024 school year and is elected Treasurer for the 2024-2025 school year. Riley is a three-season Varsity athlete in Soccer, Basketball and Softball. She was a guard on the Girls Basketball NYS ChAMpionship team this year. Riley was inducted into the National Honor Society, Seat of Wisdom chapter this Spring and is also a Mathlete, Falcon AMbassador and Peer Mentor. Riley founded the AM Beautification Club and is also in the International Club and a Golden Girl. Her volunteer commitments include Days for Girls, Buddy Ball, Baking Memories for Kids and the Veterans Administration.
For the 2024-2025 school year, Student Council will LEAD with honesty, consistency and diligence. "We will approach each project with a good work ethic and always give it our best"

Julia will serve as Secretary for the 2024-2025 school year. Julia was inducted into the National Honor Society, Seat of Wisdom chapter this Spring and is a Peer Mentor. As a center midfielder for the Girls Varsity Soccer team, Julia was part of the 2022 Soccer NY State ChAMpionship team as well as having earned All State, All Section (2x), All League (2x), All County (2x) and Lohud Elite 11 honors at AM. Julia is a Division 1 Commit to St. John's University. Outside of Albertus, Julia plays club soccer for World Class and has volunteered for Meals on Wheels and Birthright.

Student Council plans to SERVE by providing an outlet for the students and allowing them to voice their comments and concerns. "We will prioritize the needs of the students and make sure that they feel Known and Valued."
Student Council plans to INSPIRE students by coming up with new ideas and get more participation and involvement. "We hope to get students more involved in all aspects of school, whether that be with school spirit, joining a new club, or trying a new volunteer opportunity."
